Falcon 4.0 Hint: Pilot Other Fighters
Enter Dogfight mode and add the aircraft you want to fly. Highlight that aircraft and click "Join". Click the small <+> next to the flight callsign to see the pilots. Highlight the AI pilot--lead slot--and click "Delete Pilot". With the AI still highlighted, click "Join".

Note: This does not work for the MiG-19.
