Star Trek: Birth of the Federation Easy Money
If you are tired of running out of money, play as the Ferengi and set up trade routes with every race you come in contact with.

Star Trek: Birth of the Federation Cheat Codes
Start the game with the command line TREK.EXE -MUDD. (Note the space before the dash (-)). While playing, press any of the following keys:

• F9 -- 100% research points distributed between current projects
• F10 -- 10,000 additional credits
• F11 -- Reveal full map

Star Trek: Birth of the Federation Diplomacy Trick
This isn't a cheat as it is so much a trick to get other races to join youall at once. It places you massively in debt, so make sure you havenothing important to do for the next ten turns or so. Save up a wad ofcredits and offer each minor race the maximum you can give to get theirnext level of diplomacy, i.e. friendship-affiliation-membership. You endup getting just about everyone you asked, assuming you had about 3000 tostart with, and the money you get from the trade routes or the new minorrace system from a new member will make the deficet in your empire worth it.

First use the Trek.exe -Mudd code then in the main game right click clickthe button at the top left the one with microchip then click the managementthe one where you manage how many percent you devote on the research thenpress F9-F10 at the same time you will notive that the research percentagego up and if it goes to the 100 just click turn then you will learn thatresearch.
