Uncharted Waters: New Horizons Easy Money
To gain some easy gold at the beginning of the game, take the COLLECT DEBT job at the guild in Venice. When you collect the 5 gold ingots, deposit it in a bank. Then go back to venice and the banker will say you failed the job. You still get to keep the gold. Do this only when you have no fame or else you will lose some of your fame.

Uncharted Waters: New Horizons A Profitable Trade Route
There is a very profitable trade route which I would like to recommend and that is trading gold and silver between Madeira and Lubeck. Invest 5 ingots in the market at Madeira and also invest up till 15 ingots in Lubeck. For the first time, buy Silver at Lubeck SLOWLY (80 lots at a time untill the rate for jewellery is at its highest) and sell it in Madeira SLOWLY (such that the price of the gold is at its lowest) but remember not to sell it all.

(1) Buy the maximum lots of gold for one ship and sell 80 lots of silver again after this. Then repeat this action until all your ships are full. Go back to Lubeck and sell the gold ship by ship (note: buy 80 lots of silver after each ship of gold is sold.)

Go back to Madeira and repeat the process (1) again. This trade route ensures that the maximum no of ingots can be made from each trip. But of course, it is best to start this trade route when you have 6 large trading ships (Full Rigged Ship from Antwerp, Venetian Galease, or the fastest of all Tekkousen from Nagasaki and Sakai) or more. A few dozens of ingots as capital would be essential as well.Within an hour of continuous trading, you will be able to earn at least 10,000 ingots.
