WWF Royal Rumble Sleight of Hand
This easy trick enables you to slow down the background on the Wrestler Select screen. When the Wrestler Select screen appears, press L once. To stop the screen altogether, press L twice. To speed the background up, press R once. To make it go super-fast, press R twice.

WWF Royal Rumble Twin Wrestlers
Choose the wrestler you want to clone. At his screen, stop the background (see Sleight of Hand). Now press and hold R then press and hold L, then press Select. Another copy of the wrestler will appear next in the list.
